At Home Instead, it’s not just about providing a service — it’s about building trust, offering peace of mind, and creating lasting human connection.
The Opportunity
Home Instead Markham is looking for a dedicated and ambitious Community Relations and Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. We are a rapidly growing office that opened in 2020 with a clear goal: to empower every aging adult in our community to remain at home with independence, dignity, and the support they deserve. As demand for our services continues to rise, we're seeking someone who shares our passion for exceptional in-home senior care and is excited to help us reach more families in need.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on building relationships, generating leads, and driving growth. You’ll be the face of our brand with referral partners, help more families discover the value of our services, lead our strategic sales and marketing efforts, and support client service delivery through intake and other tasks.
If you're passionate about mission-driven work and want to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career, you may be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Relationships: Develop and maintain trusted connections with referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, and retirement communities.

- Be a Brand Ambassador: Represent Home Instead with professionalism in one-on-one meetings, networking events, and group presentations.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Track all sales activity and referral outreach using CRM tools to maximize visibility and territory performance.
- Generate Leads: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, email, networking, and community engagement.
- Manage Intake and Consultations: Respond to new client inquiries, guide families through the intake process, and conduct in-home care consultations to assess needs and recommend care plans.
- Lead Local Marketing: Coordinate local marketing activities including event planning, community sponsorships, print materials, and digital promotions in collaboration with the leadership team.
- Support Client Services: Contribute to quality assurance efforts, client follow-ups, and resolving concerns to ensure an exceptional service experience.
- Contribute to Team Projects: Pitch in on cross-functional initiatives and internal projects as needed — we’re a growing small business, and every role plays a part in our success.
